Forsyth Park Place is a charming, engaging community, home to some of the best neighbors you will ever encounter.
Located in Forsyth, Illinois, this 54 unit development consists of 30 single ranch homes, eight duplexes and two quadplexes. Residency is restricted to persons at least 50 years of age and can only be occupied as private dwellings. The leasing of properties is not permitted.
Our community is connected to several safe and well-lit paths for biking and walking.
Residents own their own lot,
assuming full responsibility for both interior and exterior maintenance of their property, including landscaping.
FPPHA provides lawn care and snow removal for all homes and maintains the common areas, including a gazebo, an attractively landscaped boulevard along Forsyth Parkway, and an observation deck overlooking the neighborhood pond.
There is an initial fee of $200 and monthly dues of $115
The organization is a not-for-profit corporation with a five-member board of directors elected by property owners at an annual meeting held each April.
An Architectural Committee, is charged with reviewing and enforcing any external changes to properties. A community pond allows fishing for residents and their guests
Neighbors regularly gather to socialize.
Neighborhood volunteers host potlucks from
May-October in Forsyth Park.
A monthly breakfast is held for all interested residents on the
2nd Thursday at a local restaurant.
A Mens Breakfast is held on the 3rd Thursday of the month
and that same day the women of Park Place meet for a
"Ladies Who Lunch" gathering.
When the weather cooperates, neighbors gather at the gazebo on Thursday evenings to enjoy one another’s company.
Residents are encouraged to become involved in the community.
